Let me begin by saying how totally impressed I am by marathon runners. I'm in decent shape and could do any other kind of physical activity all day long, but man, RUNNING 26.2 miles? (I'm more of a 5K kind of gal.) It's not so much the physical strength of marathon runners that I admire; it's the mental strength. When your body is telling you to stop, you push through and tell your body to shut the heck up. I love that.:)
