The Bud Light Lime Surf Series (BLLSS) will hold their Labor Day cup at Jennette’s Pier , August 31-September 2, 2012. This will be the first time BLLSS has visited the east coast! Pros, legends, & locals vie for more than $125,000 in total prize money!

The U.S. News and World Report has named the Outer Banks of North Carolina the best family beach vacation destination in the country for 2012! Great national recognition for something the locals already knew! OBX even ranked above top tourist beaches such as Myrtle Beach, San Diego, and even Maui.
One of the most iconic historical structures on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, opens for the season on April 20th, 2012. To celebrate, the National Park Service is inviting Outer Banks locals as well as visitors to climb the lighthouse for free. On this day only, free tickets will be available on a first come/first served basis and can only be obtained in-person at the site the day of the climb.
