The Outer Banks Pirates Festival will kick off this Thursday, September 16, 2010. Activities will be held all over the Outer Banks through Sunday, September 19. If anyone has visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, then they know the impact the black granite panels filled with the names of 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War.
